npm-diff.app exposes a online API to equal npm diff, to be able to see the changes between versions of packages or forks of packages.

GET https://npm-diff.app/api/@types/node@15.12.1...@types/node@15.12.2
will return the same as
npm diff --diff=@types/node@15.12.1 --diff=@types/node@15.12.2
